So help me understand, is there anything apart from potentially higher input lag, hdmi handshake issues and messier cable management, against just using the Av receiver/sound bar passthroug(provided it also has all the hdmi 2.1 features and bandwidth) or an hdmi switch?

I have the 3500 nit TCL C855 65" and it is outstanding. Used to own an LG G1 OLED until it got burn-in. The TCL is so much brighter, life like and sharper. 0.4 nits black levels, no blooming whatsoever and I use subtitles a lot. Get Apple TV+ and it will make the C855 shine. The Google TV app on it is good. The Picture options are outstanding in variety. Out of the box quality viewing. The remote is simple, elegant and easy to use. Compliments, kudos to TCL for this TV. Hands down the best TV I have every owned. Almost half the price of OLED makes it all that much better.

I need this TV, so I can brag my TV has a nicer rear than yours…..Maybe set it up on a turntable, so the TV can do a spin-a-rama move every time its turned on, to show off its rear. 😅

I have a perfect settings for this TV for movies.

I have 55G4, everything is better with G4 but I dont like panel, uniformity is not the best, too many vertical bars on gray scale, pink tinting on white images, and when you play RDR2 open map and try panning camera left to right and backwards, I see bars and tinting awful... Only I like qd oled is uniformity almost perfect, I wish LG make tvs with qd oled panels, that would be perfect combination

Note for B8 or that generation of tv's and G2 users. Had the B8 with a similar usb ethernet adapter from 2021 and works absolutely fine. Don't be convinced by these speed tests off the tv, they will differ from the accurate speed from your computer, laptop etc. I couldn't stream a 4K remux of any high bitrate movie without many pauses to buffer until I used the usb ethernet adapter. Now when I upgraded my tv to a G2 I did run into a usb issue. The 2 usb sockets on the back of the G2 were not an upgrade from the wifi or ethernet. Many movies buffered and peaked at 90Mbs so I randomly tried the laft hand side usb port and turned off my router and tv at the mains to almost reset the equipment. Played Blade Runner 4K HDR remux which hit over 200Mbs and the entire film ran without hiccups. For whatever reason the side usb does work on the G2 for some strange reason. Seen a couple of people say this.

Having both (Panasonic ST50) and LG C3 OLED. - Plasma has somewhat better motion for low frame rates videos (24/30), but has ghost effect - OLED is of course much sharper, even for 1080P, Plasma has issues with text reading, etc.. - Contrast/Blacks/Colors are very similar and good, OLED seems like good evolution compared to LED/LCD poor - OLED is generally brighter than plasma, even though it is not its strength, and HDR is amazing - I miss amazing 3D on OLED that plasma has Generally very similar picture quality, do not feel scared to go to OLED at this time, OLED caught up finally to Plasma.

The audio dynamics are no comparison. Blu ray is the only way to go if you care about that.

It would be much better if this video was HDR. SDR by no mean could give us the reasonable demonstration of how these TVs looks.

Please give us a review of MacBook Pro 16 XDR. And also check out new QD oled monitors. It would be pleasure if you make video about these devices

On my LG C1 using netflix to test network speed I get 500 mbps but when I use my browser to test the speed I get 10 mbps, whats wrong?

Ordinary TVs seem like a thing of the past. The future are connectable display pieces. You can have a TV in the size you want. Umfortunately those tiles are very expensive yet. Let's see how long it takes for this tech to go mainstream.

Colors look a bit more cooked, saturated, and contrasted. Then what I was editing in DaVinci. Pretty much what happened is I worked and exported in gamma 2.2 and had my monitor set to that, while RUclips and other online places use gamma 2.4 mostly so everything was thrown off. It is what it is, make mistake then fix it and I’ll hopefully get better after doing that a couple times😅

Very average tv poor black levels. Dirty screen effect,poor viewing angles , no gamma control , not bright enough for hdr I'm sure this tv isn't fald aswell , it's too expensive, the sound is decent though. Sky need to bring out an oled version
